SOS panic button
A physical button in the vehicle that, when pressed and held, sends an emergency alert to the owner’s phone with the vehicle’s location.
Included in Infinity+ plan.
What it does
For the person in the vehicle
Every other feature is about the owner watching the vehicle. This one is for whoever is inside it when something goes wrong.
One button, held down
No app to unlock, no number to find. Press and hold, and the alert goes out.
The location goes with it
The alert carries where the vehicle is, so the person receiving it knows where to go or who to send.
It reaches the owner immediately
The SOS arrives as an alert on the owner’s phone as soon as it is raised.
How it works

The button is fitted where it can be reached
Our technician places it within reach of the driver but not somewhere it gets pressed by accident.

It is pressed and held
A deliberate press-and-hold, rather than a tap, so it is not triggered accidentally.

An SOS alert is raised
The device sends the emergency alert with the vehicle’s current position.

The owner is notified
The alert lands on the owner’s phone and is recorded in the alerts list with the time and location.
Important limitations
- This alerts the vehicle owner through the app. It does not contact the police, an ambulance or any emergency service. In a genuine emergency, call the emergency services directly.
- The alert travels over the mobile network. With no signal it is sent once coverage returns, which may not be immediate.
- It depends on somebody receiving and acting on the alert. Make sure whoever needs to act has the app installed and notifications on.
