Delete your TrakInfinity account
You can ask us to delete your TrakInfinity account and the personal data associated with it at any time. Here is how, and what happens.
How to request deletion
Contact us using any of the methods below from the mobile number registered on your account, and tell us you want your account deleted. Please include your registered mobile number and your vehicle registration number so we can identify the account.
We verify every request against the registered mobile number before deleting anything — this is to stop someone else deleting your account and your vehicle history.
What gets deleted
- Your account and login details
- Your name, mobile number and email address
- The vehicles registered to your account and their details
- Your vehicle location and trip history
- The alerts recorded against your vehicles
- Any vehicle documents you uploaded to the app
What we have to keep
- Invoices and payment records, which we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes
- Records we are required to retain by law, or to deal with a legal claim
How long it takes
We action verified deletion requests within 30 days. We will confirm once it is done.
Before you delete
Deleting your account stops the tracking service for your vehicles and removes your trip history permanently. It cannot be undone. If you only want to stop using the app on one phone, or remove someone else's access to your vehicle, you do not need to delete your account — call us and we will help you with that instead.
